LEGO 80108 Lunar New Year Traditions is a 1,066-piece set that was released in 2022 and retired in January 2023. The set is for ages 8 and up and features 12 minifigures and six brick-built scenes that depict different festive activities. The activities include food shopping, making decorations, visiting family, and exchanging red envelopes.


The set is available for solo building and play or family fun. Some say the set is interesting and unusual, and that it's full of recolored parts and minifigures. The box is also unique in that it's square instead of rectangular, and the front shows six vignettes.

We ship using USPS, UPS, or Fedex (carrier selection is at our discretion). Standard shipping is 3 days west of the Mississippi, 5 days for the rest of the continental U.S., and 7 days to Hawaii and Alaska*.

Large parcels, (typically anything more than 2 pounds) cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes.

Orders are typically shipped within one business day after placing your order. We currently do not ship outside of the U.S., except by prior arrangement.

What is the Return Policy?

Returns on new / sealed sets accepted within 30 days with valid receipt. Sealed sets must be returned with all original factory seals in tact. NO returns on damaged/clearance sets, used sets, bulk used Lego parts, Lego parts, custom orders or custom build-a-minifig items. Collectible minifigs must be returned “like new” condition — no scratches, missing parts, dings or dents.

All returns must be approved in advance. In order to receive a return authorization, please contact John@Johnsboxofbricks.com. Please include your original invoice number, date of purchase, what you want to return and why you want to return it. We will try to respond to all inquiries within 2 business days. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless approved otherwise by John’s Box of Bricks. Upon approval, a return postage label will be provided. Upon receipt of your item and verification that the item is in similar to condition as when it was sold to you, then will be reimbursed for the amount of your purchase less any shipping costs to return the item.

What is the Refund Policy?

Refunds will be provided within 3 to 5 business days after receipt of your item and refunds will be provided via the same method of original payment (credit card, paypal, etc.).
